Tara Schilling, BA, Medical Services Coordinator, is celebrating her 6th anniversary of dedication to Hospice of Southern Illinois this June. She has been selected as our care ambassador for her work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond for her team and our patients. Tara adds why she chose Hospice of Southern Illinois for her career path, “I’ve had personal experience with both family and friends being on Hospice of Southern Illinois services. Their excellent care made me want to be a part of their team. My favorite part of working here is how much I love working with our Medical Directors and Associate Medical Directors. Their compassion and love for our patients amazes me every day.”
Hospice of Southern Illinois is proud to be a local, not-for-profit hospice. We appreciate the support of our community partners and Tara’s family is the perfect example of what a great community we serve. “I was born and raised in Belleville, IL. My family has the local business of ‘Tade Dental Lab.’ I love being a part of this great community. I am very active with Southern Illinois Street Rod Association (SISRA), which leads me to be out and about in the community at various car shows. SISRA is a non-for-profit organization who donates to Hospice of Southern Illinois annually. These annual donations allow for Hospice of Southern Illinois to provide supplies, medical equipment and medications to our patients. I’m glad that I can be the common denominator that unites these two amazing organizations!”
