Jade Gutierrez

August 5, 2019

Jade Gutierrez, Human Resources Assistant since 2016, was originally hired in Medical Records. She started with Hospice of Southern Illinois in the summer of 2014. “Hospice of Southern Illinois is such a wonderful place to work. Our employees are so dedicated to the mission of our company and I like being able to help them in my role as a Human Resources Assistant,” Jade Gutierrez shares. One of the duties that she enjoys most is recruitment and the onboarding process. A strength of hers is in our new employee orientation process. She thrives on making new hires feel welcome and a part of the team.

She has had several family members on hospice care. “That personal experience opened my eyes about how hospice care is able to provide support during such a difficult time. Hospice care does not focus on death, but instead quality of life. I find it very rewarding to work for a company that is able to help patients and their families make the most of their remaining time together,” Jade adds.

When Jade Gutierrez isn’t at work, she enjoys Historic, Downtown Belleville. She grew up in Belleville and enjoys supporting local businesses and restaurants in her community! Her favorite quote is, “Tomorrow belongs to those who can hear it coming,” by David Bowie. Jade brings her positivity, warmth and professionalism to the new hires and long-standing employees she works with every day.
