Amy Richter, FHFMA, CPA, CGMA, MBA: Interim CEO/Chief Financial Officer
Amy came to Hospice of Southern Illinois because she wanted to work for an organization where her “daily work would have a direct impact on making a difference in people’s lives.” She attended Maryville University in St. Louis and is inspired by Thomas Jefferson’s quote: “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.”
Floria Densmore, MSM, BSN, RN: Chief Clinical Officer
Floria attended Webster University in St. Louis and Argosy University in Nashville before coming to Hospice of Southern Illinois. She is impressed by Hospice of Southern Illinois’ high ethical commitment and is proud to be part of a not-for-profit organization that “does the right thing” for its patients, families, volunteers and employees.
Ellen Middendorf, MD: 24 Hour On-Call Medical Director
Ellen received both her undergraduate degree and her medical degree from St. Louis University and completed her residency at St. Louis University Belleville Family Practice. She came to Hospice of Southern Illinois because it allows her to “provide care to patients and families in a setting that exemplified the highest quality standards across all levels of the organization.”
Jan Bowman-Marsh, MD: Medical Director – South
Jan loves the people at Hospice of Southern Illinois and enjoys working for a not-for-profit. She earned her medical degree from the University of Arizona and her residency was at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale Family Practice. Her favorite quote is “A woman is like a teabag-you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water” by Eleanor Roosevelt.
